Hearing Screenings are done
at our office, through the mobile test van, at pre-schools, and
Health Fairs. We screen individuals of all ages.
There is no charge for any
screenings.
In-office screenings; are
done by appointment only.
If an individual fails the initial screening, he/she can be
re-screened. If he/she fails the second screening, he/she is
usually referred to the Speech and Hearing Department at the
Reading Hospital for more complete testing and diagnosis.
A
mobile test van, donated by the Sertoma Club, is used for some
Health Fairs, where space allows, and for pre-school/daycare
test sites.
